Set Global Edit → Local SW to OFF when the DAW echoes the minilogue xd’s MIDI back to the instrument. Confirm the return route before leaving Local SW off.
Do this first
- Identify whether the DAW returns the minilogue xd’s played MIDI notes.
- Open Global Edit and set Local SW to OFF.
- Play one note through the DAW route.
- If the DAW is not echoing notes, restore Local SW ON for normal local playing.
Diagnose it
Does the DAW echo the keyboard MIDI back?
Yes: Local SW OFF prevents direct and returned triggering together.
No: Check duplicate DAW tracks or another MIDI loop before changing Local SW.
Expected result
A note routed through an echoing DAW triggers the sound engine once.
