Fast answer
Enable clock reception using pad 31 in Setup View and send valid clock to USB or MIDI IN. Disabling reception forces the internal clock.
Try these checks
- Connect the master to MIDI IN or the USB MIDI route you intend to use.
- Press Shift + Save and make pad 31 bright.
- Press Play to exit, enable clock output on the master and start its clock.
Diagnose it
Is pad 31 bright in Setup View?
Yes: Check incoming clock at the chosen port.
No: Enable it and exit Setup View.
What should happen
Circuit Tracks follows valid incoming clock, with internal timing available when no clock is received.
Why this happens
Clock reception and transmission have independent switches.
If it still doesn’t work
