Leave Song Mode before trying remote pattern changes. Arturia documents that bank and pattern changes cannot be made while Song Mode is enabled.
Try these checks
- Check whether Song Mode is enabled and switch to pattern operation.
- Match the sender to the Impact’s MIDI channel.
- Send Program Change 0 for pattern 1, then 1 for pattern 2; check whether your sender displays numbers starting at 0 or 1.
Diagnose it
Is Song Mode enabled?
Yes: Exit Song Mode before selecting a pattern remotely.
No: Check the channel and transmitted Program Change value.
What should happen
Program Change values 0–15 address patterns 1–16 outside Song Mode.
Why this happens
Song Mode blocks this pattern selection; displayed program numbering can also differ from the transmitted value.
If it still doesn’t work
Check the connections and settings described above. If your device behaves differently, email us with its model, firmware version and the steps you tried.
