Fast answer

Select the sync mode for the clock input and send a MIDI Start message as well as clock when using MIDI or USB sync. CLK is the separate analogue-sync mode.

Try these checks

  1. Select MIDI for DIN clock or USB for USB clock.
  2. Enable both clock and transport output on the master.
  3. Start the master and check that its selected output sends Start as well as continuing clock.

Diagnose it

Does the master send transport as well as clock?

Yes: Check the Impact’s selected sync input.

No: Enable Start/Stop output on the master.

What should happen

The Impact follows the selected clock and starts when it receives the appropriate transport message.

Why this happens

Arturia’s support guide distinguishes the timing stream from the Start message.

If it still doesn’t work
