USB and DIN routing

Manufacturer documented

Bass Station II provides USB MIDI and DIN MIDI IN/OUT, but does not operate as a USB-to-DIN MIDI interface. A computer connected by USB cannot use it as a general bridge to another DIN instrument.

Set the transmit/receive channel with Function/Exit and the upper G-sharp key labelled Global MIDI Channel. The Patch/Value controls choose channels 1–16.

Local keyboard

Manufacturer documented

The upper A key selects Global Local when using the On-Key functions. On connects the keyboard to the sound engine; Off is useful when a sequencer returns the keyboard’s notes.

Local returns to On at power-up. If the keys go silent during a session, inspect Local before changing patches or resetting the instrument.
