Set up the source
- On the TR-8S, open UTILITY:SYNC/TEMPO.
- Set Sync Out to ON.
Set up the destination
- On the minilogue, open GLOBAL 4.
- Set Clock Source to Auto (MIDI).
- Ensure no competing SYNC IN pulse is connected.
Test the route
Start the TR-8S and confirm the minilogue’s tempo-based functions follow its clock.
If it does not work
- Check TR-8S Sync Out is ON.
- Check cable direction: TR-8S OUT to minilogue IN.
- Remove or verify SYNC IN because minilogue gives it clock priority.
