Set up the source
- Set minilogue GLOBAL 4 → Clock Source to Internal.
- Start the minilogue sequencer or set its tempo as the intended master clock.
Set up the destination
- On the TR-8S, open UTILITY:SYNC/TEMPO.
- Set TempoSync to MIDI.
- Set RxStartStop according to whether you want the minilogue’s transport to control the TR-8S.
Test the route
Start the minilogue sequence and confirm the TR-8S tempo follows; then check whether TR-8S starts and stops as chosen.
If it does not work
- Check minilogue MIDI OUT → TR-8S MIDI IN direction.
- Check minilogue Clock Source is Internal and TR-8S TempoSync is MIDI.
- If tempo follows but transport does not, check TR-8S RxStartStop.
